Meetings & Conferences in the Faroes Islands

The Nordic House

Built in a Nordic tradition, the Nordic House may well look as an enchanting hill of elves. Entering the house, you are stepping in Norwegian stones and can be seated in Finnish chairs. The wooden panels give an insight into the deep Swedish forests, the glass and steel constructions are Danish, and above it all hangs the Icelandic roof construction. Last, but not least, the grass on the roof is as Faroese as it is green. The main hall of The Nordic House is the centre of the house. In the standard set-up, there can be seated up to 380 people. In the house, there is also a smaller room, Klingran, which can seat up to 150 guests. Constructed as a sliding door, the back wall can be taken away, combining Klingran and the main hall. This creates a spacious flat floor room with or without chairs. Combining Klingran and the Main Hall makes room for 890 guests.

Østrøm is an old factory at the west harbor in downtown Tórshavn. Today Østrøm is a creative hub in the capital city hosting a world class recording studio, a creative shop and a charming café. The venue has been used for conferences, fairs, events such as fashion events, parties, weddings, etc.
